For small crews

Behind on LEMs and invoices? Start here.

Jobs all day, paperwork at the kitchen table at night, and a couple of jobs not billed yet. Here’s what we’d set up first, what it costs, and what it takes from you.

The kitchen-table pile: unsigned LEMs, timesheets and invoices not sent yet.

What we’d set up first

Two things. That’s it.

  1. 1 · On the foreman’s phone

    The crew app

The FLRA in the morning, and at the end of the day the LEM is already filled in from it. Your client’s rep signs it on the tailgate. No more writing hours twice.

    Safety & LEM crew app

  2. 2 · In the office, or the kitchen

The invoice, from the signed LEM

The signed LEM becomes the invoice on that client’s rates, in QuickBooks Online or as a PDF. You can see what’s been paid and what hasn’t.

    Field to Paid

  3. Then

30 days on your real jobs

Your crews run it on real work for 30 days before the first monthly fee. If it isn’t earning its keep, stop there and you never pay a month.

What it costs

For a crew of 1 to 25 people who sign in.

Your guys who sign on through the foreman’s phone don’t count. Neither does your client’s rep.

What’s in it: the crew app on the foreman’s phone (FLRA, JHA, truck check and the LEM your client signs), and Field to Paid in the office (every job tracked, and the invoice made from the signed LEM in QuickBooks Online or as a PDF). We build both around your forms, your rates and your clients, and train your foremen.

Want to start smaller? Either one can start on its own, and so can the invoicing part of Field to Paid. All prices.

CAD, plus GST. Setup is paid half when the build starts and half when it goes live. The first monthly fee starts 30 days after go-live. Hosting, daily backups, fixes and updates are in the monthly.

One price for 1 to 25 people who sign in. Fixes and updates included. Never a monthly fee before your crews have run it for 30 days.

What it takes from you

About an hour. We do the building.

  • One hour

Walk us through your forms, your rate sheets and your clients. Photos of the paper forms are fine.

  • A short session per foreman

On his own phone, at the truck. Big buttons, and it works with no signal.

  • No work emails needed

The sign-in code goes to any email, or the foreman signs the crew on.

  • Nothing to install

It runs in the phone’s browser. Nothing from an app store.

Questions

The kitchen-table questions.

How much of my time does setup take?

About an hour to walk us through your forms, your rate sheets and your clients, plus a short session with each foreman once it’s built. We do the building.

Do my guys need a work email?

No. The sign-in code goes to any email address, or the foreman signs the crew on from his phone. Nothing to install from an app store.

Do the crew hours go to payroll?

The hours are already on the LEM, by person, straight time and overtime. They export as a spreadsheet for whoever does payroll, so nobody types them in twice.

Does it work with QuickBooks Desktop?

Invoices connect two-way with QuickBooks Online. For QuickBooks Desktop or anything else, invoices and LEMs export as CSV and PDF.

Can you help with the LEMs that are already behind?

Bring them to the 30-minute look. We’ll tell you honestly what the fastest way through the pile is, with or without us.

What do I pay, and when?

The setup is paid half when we start building and half when it goes live. The monthly fee starts 30 days after go-live, so your crews run it on real jobs for a month first. If it isn’t earning its keep, stop there and you never pay a month. The setup isn’t refunded once it’s live, because that’s the build.
